VLADIMIR STADNIK

Vladimir Stadnik was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and received his ballet training at the Vaganova Ballet Academy.

As a professional dancer, he became a soloist and toured throughout the Soviet Union, Western Europe and the U.S.A. Vladimir later studied dance pedagogy at the University of Culture, St. Petersburg. Still while continuing his career, he graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts from the Choreographic Department of the State Conservatory, Rimsky Korsakov.

Vladimir Stadnik taught Ballet and Character Dance in Switzerland and was a guest teacher in Finland, France and Italy. In 2004 he was invited to teach in the United States where he was principal of the Tulsa Center for Dance Education and the Associate Artistic Director of NDI, New Mexico.

After serving six years as Assistant Professor of Dance at the Ball State University, he moved to Canada to teach for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.

Presently Mr. Stadnik is an international guest teacher and choreographer, living in Germany, Munich.
