Finland International Summer Ballet School (F.I.S.B.S.) is a dance school built on a deep love for the art of movement and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of dancers.

For more than 10 years, F.I.S.B.S. has brought together young dancers from Finland and around the world for inspiring and intensive summer training. Our original vision was to create an international summer program where children and teenagers could learn from world-class masters of classical ballet and character dance, experience different approaches to dance education, and immerse themselves in an inspiring international dance community.

As our school has grown and evolved, so has our program. We have expanded beyond classical ballet and character dance to include contemporary dance, experimental, pilates and other movement styles, giving our students the opportunity to explore a wider range of techniques and artistic expressions.

We believe that a well-rounded dancer is not only someone who learns steps and technique, but someone who learns to understand their body, movement, musicality, expression, and individuality.

Our goal is to provide students with an environment where they can challenge themselves, discover their potential, gain confidence, and develop both as dancers and as young people.
